Age Limit:

The persons who are born between January 02 1993 & Jul 01 1998 can apply.
The applicant should be at least 18 years of age.
The persons who have the degree of B.Tech/ BE in any of the discipline for Executive Branch can apply:

  • BE/ B.Tech in Marine / Metallurgy / Control / Mechanical / Production / Electrical or Electronics / Telecommunications / Instrumentation / Computer Science / Aeronautical / Instrumentation & Control / Automation & Robotics / Industrial Engineering & Management / Aerospace & BS Marine Engineering for Engineering Branch (General Service), Automotive / Mechtronics are free to apply for exam.
  • BE/ B.Tech in Electronics/ Elecrtrical/ Telecommunication/Computer Science/ Power Engineering/ Power Electronics/ Electrronics & Communication/ Instrumentation & Control Engineering/Control System Engineering/Instrumentation/ Electronics & Instrumentations for Electrical Branch (General Service) for Technical Branch.

Education Qualification:

Those who have attained Engineering degree or are in their final year of the Engineering course in any of the disciplines from some recognized institution can apply for the examination. Aspirants must have attained 60% marks till the 7th and 5th semesters in regular as well as integrated courses respectively.

Selection Procedure:

The recruitment process includes Psychological Test, Intelligence Test, Group Test, Discussion Test, and Picture Perception, Interview. IHQ of MoD is given the right to shortlist applications and fix the Marks and cut-off. There will be no permission for contact and communication given during the process. An interview will take place in cities like Bangalore, Bhopal, Visakhapatnam, and Coimbatore. Selected applicants will avail information about the interview round via email or text message.

The interview includes two Stages - Stage 1 includes Discussion test, Intelligence test, and Picture perception and if an applicant is failed to clear this stage will be sent back. On the contrary, those who clear stage 1 will appear for Group testing, Psychological testing, and Interview and all this will get completed in four days. Once this stage is cleared, an applicant will move for Medical test which again continues for three to five days. If the applicant is found mentally fit then SSB will call them for training as per All India permit and number of seats available. In case there is a change in dates, then you will get a phone call. It is recommended to download the call letter from IHQ MoD through email or SMS.
